YELLOW - external trips (these will be via bus and walking). Awaiting final confirmation of activity dates organised by Calderdale Council ALL on site days will have a free play session before and after lunch to allow children to play football or on the trim trail (weather permitting)
COSTS – Full Day on site = £21.50; Sibling on site day = £14.50; Trip Day Full = £27.50; Trip Day Sibling £20
NOTES
Because we operate within the principles of Play Work, children ALWAYS have the choice to play independently of the set daily activities and are free to utilise our settings rich indoor and outdoor resources with staff support whenever they want to.
At 10am and 1pm every day (except trip days) the children will be taken outdoors to the junior playground/field and trim trail. They have access to any of our resources in the shed and the freedom to play any game they want either independently or in a number of small groups with staff support. (on previous occasions children have enjoyed skipping games, marbles, bulldogs charge, scarecrow tig, ultimate frisby, football, blanket volley ball and kick rounders to name but a few…please see the photos in the reception area.)
We have a F.A Level 1 football coach working within the setting- for those who like to play football or other team games Gemma will be pleased to support that at the children’s request whenever staffing levels and weather conditions support her.

Please return no later than 12th July. Wednesdays have been allocated as trip days and must be booked as full days. We are unable to offer the option of remaining at SOS on trip days, due to the cost of additional staffing.
